Richard Berry attends the launch of the updated 2023 Isuzu MU-X testing this seven-seater SUV for price and value, safety, fuel efficiency, practicality, ownership costs and what its like to drive.
Counting the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Everest and Mitsubishi PajeroSport among its direct rivals the MU-X like them is based on an off-road ute – the Isuzu D-Max.
Braked towing capacity is an impressive 3500kg, while ground clearance from 230mm is also excellent.
