We test the new Audi SQ8 with the petrol V8 engine, which replaces the old diesel V8 we loved – but don’t worry, the 2023 SQ8 is still a great vehicle.
The Audi SQ8 is one of the best coupe-SUVs out there, with attractive styling. For 2023, it swaps from its insanely torquey and frugal diesel TDI V8 to a petrol TFSI 4.0-litre V8, a detuned version of the RSQ8’s engine. Was this a good move?
The Audi SQ8 competes with the BMW X6 M50i and Mercedes-AMG GLE53 coupe.
