Our trip begins in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada’s, which just a few days prior to us arriving, was hit by a MASSIVE blizzard that closed roads, trapped 4WDers & brought temps down to well below freezing. 🌡️
We’re only a few miles from the Rubicon trailhead, which is currently buried in snow & virtually impassable – so we’re going to try push out to the old trail start via the Wentworth Springs OHV trail.
It’s a journey of just six miles, but in these conditions, whether we can make it is anyone’s guess… 😳
