Overview

The Q8 is one of several SUVs that emphasizes sporty looks while dialing back the utility a bit. Essentially an Audi Q7 with only two rows of seats and a truncated cargo area, the Q8 has a more athletic stance but the same underpinnings. While thirsty, the Q8’s standard 335-hp turbocharged V-6 moves the coupelike SUV swiftly enough, and its suspension delivers a calming ride without sacrificing every bit of agility-enhancing stiffness. The Q8 is luxe inside and filled with modern tech. Competition comes in the form of the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE-class Coupe, both of which also trade some cargo space for style.
