Last time you saw us, we were pushing our way through deep winter snows towards one of the most famous 4WDing destinations in the US, the mighty Rubicon trail! 💪
But for the next leg of our US adventure we’re taking on something a bit different… a secret locals-only trip through the backcountry of the Sierra Nevadas in Northern California. 🤫
Our mission is to reach an incredible alpine lake hidden deep in the mountains which has been closed off for months behind a wall of snow – but first, we’ve got some challenges of a different kind ahead of us…
It’s the tail end of winter here, and while it might be looking balmy right now at only 700 meters elevation, things will be chilling right down as we climb way up into the snow over the next few days… 🥶
